Lachlan Broughton

Lachlan attended the Victorian Collage of the Arts and graduating from the New Zealand School of Dance in 2019. Lachlan helped found Wellfare state who created the award winning show ‘Flying Down Sand Dunes’ (2019). Lachlan is a trained yoga teacher andteaches at Awhi Yoga & Wellbeing. In 2024 Lachlan choreographed a fulllength work Mesmerous, nominated for the Momentous Movement at the NZ Fringe. Lachlan joined Java in 2021, performing The Tantrum and An Honest Conversation.

Lachlan grew up in Australia but has since made Aotearoa home.
