An Honest Conversation with Tiaki Kerei and Sacha Copland
An Honest Conversation is a high-risk dance duet. Two dancers talk to each other while dancing for 1 hour. They will attempt to be as honest as they possibly can right in front of your eyes. An Honest Conversation has the intimacy of a private conversation between friends, the energy of dance and the unpredictability of honesty. An Honest Conversation creates a space for the conversations you can never have. Tiaki and Sacha are veteran choreographers who have known each other for more than 20 years. Tiaki grew up in West Auckland. Sacha grew up in Central Canterbury. Tiaki is Māori. Sacha is Pākehā. They will try to be honest. They both have long impressive CVs. Tiaki is 49 and Sacha is 44.
